Beast Bites: Creatine Gummies Review

Posted on Jul 26, 2024 by

We recently purchased Beast Bites Creatine Gummies not because we thought that it was going to be a great product but because we wanted to hop on the affiliate train that is the TikTok Affiliate Program.

Of course, as soon as we tried out the gummies, we felt a hint of guilt knowing that we would be promoting a product that is certainly suboptimal when it comes to getting in your daily creatine.

So here is our honest review of Beast Bites' Creatine Gummies. Please note, we are reviewing the patented Sweet Blue Raspberry Flavor which appears to be the most popular variety.

Beast Bites: A Creatine Gummies Review In 2024

To give a full review of Beast Bites Creatine Gummies, we went over the label claims, the efficient of the product, the taste, the taste and the cost.

Label Claims

Before you even purchase a product, you need to understand what it is that the product is claiming to achieve. Beast Bites Creatine Gummies claim to be 'creatine infused gummies' that provide '5g of creatine per serving' at a total of '30 servings per container.'

If you take a look at the actual nutrition label, you can see that these gummies are infused with 5 g of Creatine Monohydrate. We like to see that because Creatine Monohydrate is the most studied, most efficacious type of creatine, hands down.

Ok great.

Now, whenever we look at a supplement, we do look for some sort of third party testing to ensure that the product has some sort of evidence of quality control. We don't produce supplements (yet) so we understand that third party testing could potentially be too expensive for a small company like Beast Bites however, this supplement was selling like absolute mad on TikTok so we must expect they could afford such testing.

Given that the supplement industry is not regulated by the FDA, we need some sort of reassurance that what we buy, in this case, creatine monohydrate infused gummies, are exactly what they claim to be.

Because it's particularly damning when there is an article that stating that these gummies don't meet the label claims without any apparent evidence from the company to state contrary.

So before we have even placed a Beast Bite into our mouth, we have some conflicting information on the product. The Beast Bite label claims that each individual gummy has 1 000 mg of Creatine Monohydrate but the testing performed per the Whole Foods Magazine article states there is only 8.7 mg of Creatine Monohydrate in each gummy.

If you can't do math, that is so close to 0 mg per gummy that taking this product would be a complete and total waste of time and money when there are so many reputable brands out there. For a bit of fun, we are going to reach out to Beast Bites to see what their response is to such an atrocious label claim.

To be fair, the website does claim the product is 'Made in the USA with Quality Assurance,' and that the gummies are produced in an 'FDA-Registered' and 'GMP-certified facility' with '...third-party lab verification for potency and safety.' See Figure 2 below.

But we'll have to wait and see what their response is to our inquiry.

Efficiency

Eating creatine gummies is undeniably, slightly, more efficient than mixing up 5 g into water (or dry scooping the creatine like a man). We can't deny that.

Popping in a few delectable gummies down the hatch before heading out for the day can provide a level of adherence that perhaps mixing up a powder simply does not. You eat the gummies and you are done.

No need to get a glass, scoop in the creatine, mix the creatine, drink the creatine and then clean the now dirty glass. No. You simply pop in the gummies, and within about 30 seconds, you've hit your 5 g creatine quota for the day.

Taste

It's never easy to describe taste. If you're a grown man or woman, you probably don't care about how your creatine tastes so long as you can palate it. Taste itself is so subjective that what one man loves, another despises.

That certainly applies here.

These Sweet Blue Raspberry creatine gummies taste like a sort of lack luster Blue Raspberry. We haven't tried another Creatine Gummy that is Blue Raspberry but if you consider something like a Sour Patch Kid the pinnacle of Blue Raspberry, then these gummies fall short.

They don't suck, no. But is the taste a game changer? No.

It's synthetic tasting Blue Raspberry.

If you haven't been able to tell yet, we personally prefer unflavored creatine monohydrate that you can drink with water or easily mix into a protein shake.

Cost

The cost of these gummies should be a deal breaker for anyone whose worried about money. If you compare these to creatine monohydrate powder, it simply does not compare.

So for almost half the cost, you can get over 3x the servings if you chose to use a Creatine Monohydrate powder rather than a Beast Bite Creatine Gummy. Again, if money is no object to you, then this won't matter but if you are struggling to get your groceries each week, then you'll want to stick with a powder.

Final Say On Beast Bites Creatine Gummies

With suspect label claims, no significant evidence to dispute otherwise and an egregiously overpriced serving size compared to other creatine products, we can't recommend that you purchase Beast Bites gummies.

If they come out and say, 'Hey, here is some legitimate third-party testing to support the creatine within our gummies,' then sure, we can recommend this product if you value efficiency over money.

But at the end of the day, if you are disciplined, and working out all the time, taking one 5 g scoop of good old fashioned, unflavored Creatine Monohydrate will be no problem for you.
